Attorney Susan Magaletta is a graduate of both Suffolk University and Suffolk Law School in Boston. Since her graduation in 1994, she has practiced exclusively family law. Susan suspended her practice briefly in order to be home with her three sons, but remained active writing family law articles, stay-at-home mother blogs and even penned a children’s book. During this time, she remained of service to the firm as an attorney of counsel and has recently returned to practice alongside her husband with the family law team at Magaletta & McCarthy.
Susan is deeply concerned with the needs of the children, and strives to give them the future all kids deserve. She has found that although a separation or divorce will inevitably have a profound effect upon children, the "good news" is that divorce does not have to leave long-lasting psychological scars. A lot will depend on how each parent handles things. She encourages her clients to take heart in knowing that they can make an enormous difference in how the children fare.
Attorney Magaletta is an active volunteer in her children’s school and her local church. She has provided pro bono legal services for women who were victims of abuse and represented children in need of care of protection services from the Commonwealth. Her goal is to serve her clients effectively and economically, giving each and every person the attention, respect and understanding they deserve. |
